Constructing is based upon concrete foundations. The foundation beams are coated with flin coat to protect them from moisture; the landfills are compressed, insulated with nylon, and covered by reinforced concrete floor 15 cm thick.
The rest of the construction is basically made of wood. Swedish or Russian timber is used, having been immersed before it is used in a special preservative that protects from termites, fungi, etc.
In some cases when the openings are too big and the Architect does not desire columns then metallic beams are used for the framework.
The peripheral walls are consisted of the wooden framework. European small bricks are built externally with white sand and cement, while internally it is sheathed with plasterboard and -in between -fiberglass (5 cm thick, 13 kg/m˛ dense) is inserted.
The European small bricks are available in a great variety of colors.
For architectural reasons the European bricks can also be built within the structure.
The internal walls are similar, however they have plasterboard on both sides. The plasterboard used is 12.5 mm thick and has a fire resistance of 30 minutes.
The ceilings are made out of plasterboard and are insulated with fiberglass that is 5 cm. thick.
All of the plasterboards are painted with emulsion paint after being sealed. A frame made of plaster is placed on the perimeter of the ceilings.
The roof of the construction is made out of the wooden frame upon which special insulating aluminum foil is placed, with glass wool fibers underneath, so that the construction is heat insulated. The tiles that we use are of the French type and imported. The upper surface is shiny, "glazed" type, has minimal moisture absorption, and a better appearance.
The floors can be coated with granite, marble, ceramics, parquet (natural or synthetic), carpet or any other material.
The protrusion around the roof of the house, and the brick wall, is 45 cm.; on the lower part a special waterproof or MASTER BOARD, according to the Architects or the owners’ judgment, is fitted.
