What legal paperwork and licenses are required to build a wooden house in Cyprus?
The construction of a wood frame house is subject to the same laws as any other construction in Cyprus. The law states that it is irrespective of the construction methods used, which types of licenses are required.

How much does a wood frame house cost?
The cost of a wooden house depends on many factors, which finishes the client wants, the complexity of the design, the terrain where the house is to be built, and many others... Normally the value of a finished house is between 650-720 euros per covered meter.

Which wood is used in the construction of a wood frame house?
The wood we use in the construction of our wooden houses are mainly pines, most of which come from countries in east Europe and Scandinavia where they are known for their good quality and durability. The wood we use of class C18 and with humidity levels under 19%, the wood is pressure treated and treated against humidity and fungus with FOBOS, which at the same time protects it from fire.

What is included in a wooden house?
Our houses come 'turn key', we construct both the structure of your house, complete with water and electric installations, flooring and complete bathrooms, any of which can be changed to accommodate clients wants and likes. Also we construct foundations at client’s request.

Are Water and Electric installations included?
In a wooden house, the pipes and wires of the electric and water systems are in the walls, which we do at the stage of pre-fabrication. These installations in woodenhouses are slightly different from those in a normal house but not more difficult. As always, good planning eases the work.

How long does it take to build a wooden house?
For houses smaller than 100m², we normally calculate between 5 and 6 months.
